The Panther Place after school care program is a free program that is offered to our 1st - 5th graders at Helmwood Heights and Morningside. We do have capacity limits, however, we are always taking applications for new students to join the program. The program is housed at each elementary school, therefore, students will stay at their school for after school care.

Schedule

2:30-2:40 Students are dismissed from school and go to the cafeteria.

2:40-3:00 Teachers take attendance and students have a snack provided by the school.

3:00-3:45 Restroom Break / Physical Activity

3:45-4:15 Homework

4:15-4:30 Dismissal

Behavior Policy

Students and Staff are to maintain a safe and respectful environment at all times. Our behavior policy indicates that students are given three warnings before receiving a write up. When a student receives three written disciplinary action forms they will be dismissed from the program for the remainder of the school year.
