Local Farmers help Helmwood Heights through AmericasFarmers#GrowRuralEducation grant. Check Presentation

A grant from Monsanto through a nomination process of our local farmers provided Helmwood Heights with $10,000 to purchase materials for their newly created STEM Lab. This is a hands-on science lab for all students to explore science and engineering concepts.  Thank you, J. Cruse, J. Langley, and B. & L. Thomas, our local farmers for the nomination, G. Wilson the Monsanto rep, J. Ballard, K. Bush and S. Ryan, J. Turner, L. Looten EIS reps and Mayor Edna Berger are pictured along with a few of Helmwood's leaders.

About Us

Valley View Education Center, located at 701 Hawkins Drive in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, houses the Alternative Programs for the EIS district.  Students are referred for placement and a committee meets to determine if placement at VVEC is appropriate for the student's needs.
