ExCEL Teachers at EIS ExCEL Teachers

Congratulations Sarah Been! Sarah Been

Sarah has been named as a 2018 Wendy's High School Heisman State Winner.  There was a pool of nearly 42,000 students with 967 state finalist of that 20 from KY. Now just she and one other KY student are state winners. Way to go Sarah and best of luck in the national competition.

Linda Williams retires after 29 years of service. Linda Williams

Congratulations to Linda Williams on retirement.  She has served the district as a bus driver for 29 years.  She will be missed by many.

EHS awarded $10,000 from Lemelson-MIT foundation Elizabethtown High School InvenTeam

Elizabethtown High School InvenTeam is one of 15 schools in the nation to be awarded this grant for a technological solution to a real-world problem.  They are inventing a confined space personal safety monitor.  This is a very exciting award and project for our 10 students on the team.

About Us

Valley View Education Center, located at 701 Hawkins Drive in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, houses the Alternative Programs for the EIS district.  Students are referred for placement and a committee meets to determine if placement at VVEC is appropriate for the student's needs.
