EHS top finishers in General Knowledge at the State level. General Knowledge Winners

EHS Academic Team members took the General Knowledge test at the state level and finished above the top ten. – Nathan J. – 3rd; Jake B.– 4th; Ameer H. – 8th in the state.  Not too much surprise as these are the same three students with perfect ACT scores.

EHS Future Problem Solving Team finishes 5th in state, qualifies for International competition in WI. FPS Team, Laura H., Nathan J., Ameer H., Thomas H.

The Future Problem Solving Team at Elizabethtown High School finished 5th in the state this past weekend.  this top win qualifies the team for International FPS competition in LaCrosse Wisconsin.  This compeition includes teams from all over the United States and several foreign countries.

TK students essay winners of Magnolia Bank "Preparing for Success" Winners

Five 6th grade TK Stone Middle School Students were winners of the Magnolia Bank “Preparing for Success” Scholarships.  To apply for the scholarship students had to write an essay describing a career they would like to have and how they planned to achieve that career. The winners were awarded a t-shirt, book bag, award certificate and a $100 certificate of deposit with Magnolia Bank.  They also, along with their parents, were treated to a pizza party at Mr. Gatti’s in Elizabethtown.

Kiara Jones, senior at Etown High and winner of school wide Poetry Out Loud Contest, competed at the State level and placed 1st in State.

She's headed to Washington DC, April 23-25
